Nothing less than a great solid number of cheap “powered” speakers. I got myself these because I have been previously wanting something a bit more powerful than my TV’s speakers. For the price this product is five star. My TV was in a smaller room and the sound great when setup properly. You should have some sort of output (receiver, DVD player, etc) that generates a 5.1 signal to realize surround sound, and you could also just chance a standard 2 channel stereo signal through it as well and still get a nice sound. I purchased these especially for use with my Xbox 360 console (which thumps out Dolby 5.1 via optical cable). We have the optical from the console having my Tritton AX360 5.1 system as well as the surround on the Tritton encountering the speakers. Great purchase, great sound!!
I acquired the Coby speaker system to select my TV. The television volume had not been loud enough with the room it truly is in. Look at the computer outputs and audio manager first and you could avoid wasting time. Or decide it is not the right system for you personally. This is a good speakers in a few uses. Not in other business owners. Than the true home entertainment system the gap in cost makes this a good buy.
A breeze to set up, great sound when compared with precisely the TV. Do wish it came with an online, but cannot complain. Because of comments in other reviews we did purchase additional speaker wire this also saved us set up frustration.
