How to Avoid Getting a Ticket
The last thing you want when driving home after a night out or on the way to the grocery store is to get pulled over by a police officer. Getting a ticket when you get pulled over is even worse! So, how do you avoid it? The simple answer is to follow all traffic laws while driving. If you aren’t breaking the law, you are very unlikely to get pulled over. If you are still worried, there are two gadgets that are great for keeping you out of trouble. These are radar detectors and the portable breathalyzer. Both gadgets do their part in keeping you from getting a ticket. Radar detectors come in many shapes and sizes but they all do the same thing which is warn you when you are near police radar. This helps because as soon as that radar detector goes off you can take a look at your speedometer and make sure you aren’t speeding, giving you enough notice to, hopefully, adjust your speed if you are speeding. The second gadget, the portable breathalyzer, is great for those nights you go out with the guys and have a few drinks. Sure you didn’t drink too much and you stopped when it was getting close to time to go, but that doesn’t mean you will actually pass a police breathalyzer test if you happen to get pulled over. These portable tests are small, many of them being key chain sized, and you can simply blow into it before you get into the car and find out if you are really good to drive. This can really help you out since driving while intoxicated is a serious offense and can land you in the back of a police car if you are pulled over. While safe driving and obeying driving laws is the most important part of avoiding a ticket, radar detectors and the portable breathalyzer test are great ways to give yourself some extra help avoiding trouble.
